Will someone please turn off the rain …

I am sure that I am not the only one wanting the rain to stop, but I suppose that I don’t have that much to complain about really.  I haven’t been flooded out of house and home, or washed off a bridge.

But I am heartily sick of rugging up like the Micheline Man to get on the bike and go to Sydney and come home again.

Seriously though, I hope that everyone effected by the flooding is high and dry and safe.

In other news I just can’t believe the response that I have had to my video Ten Minutes To Orgasm.  There will definitely be a sequel and it will likely happen in the next week or two, time permitting.  Thanks again to everyone who has emailed me with complements, suggestions, scripts for short films (!) and offers to co-star.  I am really blown away by your enthusiasm and I hope that I can live up to it :-)

Movie – Ten minutes to orgasm …

If you follow my blog then you may have seen that a Melbourne based director and producer of porn for women (Ms Naugthy) recently invited me to participate in a movie that she was shooting.  I made a post about the offer and had quite a lot of discussion with my readers and clients.

The consensus was that I should not participate, but there was also strong support for me doing something that I had full control over and could post on my site.  The result is that I recently filmed a short (10 minute) movie.

I wanted to make something that was relevant to me and the service that I offer, so filming an erotic massage seemed like the ideal starting point.  As we worked on it we both realised that stopping at just the massage would be leaving the other half of the story untold.  So we continued filming as I gave Shelly (who was by now very aroused) oral sex until she reached orgasm.  I think that the result is quite beautiful and also quite arousing.

This movie was an experiment to see what was possible with two people and digital video camera. As a result most of the shots are stationary, made using the camera on a tripod.  It is surprising I think what you can achieve with such a simple setup.  It certainly exceeded my expectations.

We had the use of a rather nice serviced apartment in the CBD for the day and the diffuse light streaming in through the curtains made for some beautiful contrasts and play of light and shadow over soft curves.

It amazes me just how easy it is, with all of the tools that we have available to us, to make really good quality movies that can be shared so easily over the Internet.  I hope you like the result and look forward to your comments.

I intend to make more movies in the future and would like to show real women having real enjoyment (like Shelly did in this movie).  If you would like to work with me (whether anonymously, or openly) feel free to let me know.

Movie – Whip It

Sitting here in my hotel catching up on email and other work and I see a preview for the movie Whip It.  I actually saw this movie on DVD a few months ago (before my local video hire shop went the way of the dodo).

Now given the themes of some of my recent posts I dare say you are expecting a bit of S&M here, but not at all.  In fact there is no sexual theme here at all.  Whip It is a movie about Roller Derby.  I love Roller Derby.

“Whip It is a 2009 comedy-drama film written by Shauna Cross, based on Cross’s novel Derby Girl. The film is directed by Drew Barrymore in her directorial debut. It stars Ellen Page as a teenager from a small town who joins a roller derby team.”

And if you are wondering what Roller Derby is …

“Roller derby is a contact sport played by two teams of five members roller skating in the same direction around a track. Game play consists of a series of short matchups (“jams”) in which both teams designate a scoring player (the “jammer”) who scores points by lapping members of the opposing team. The teams attempt to assist their own jammer while hindering the opposing jammer —in effect playing both offense and defense simultaneously. Roller derby is played by more than 1,000 amateur leagues on every inhabited continent. [ed. – and is mostly a female dominated sport – go girls!]”

Whip It was a lot of fun.  If you are looking for something to watch on one of these wet cold summer night, then I recommend Whip It!

Shortbus – (erotic) movie review

On the recommendation of a friend (thanks M!) I bought a copy of the movie Shortbus by John Cameron Mitchell last week (on eBay).  It arrived in the mail today, so I sat down with my partner after lunch to watch it.

Shortbus is rated 18+, it is a funny, entertaining movie about a couples councilor and her husband, a gay couple, a dominatrix, a voyeur, and the former major of New York!  It also has more actual real sex (straight, gay, lesbian, masturbation, domination and more) than I have ever seen outside of something rated XXX.

It’s not a movie of sex with a storyline thrown in as an excuse for the sex.  It’s a well written, directed, and produced movie that doesn’t just fade to black when people do what they actually do in real life.  And that, for me, makes the sex even more interesting.

It left us both thinking about sex and sexuality, about how people relate to each other, and how they love and fuck.  It is a great story and worth watching.

If you would like to borrow my copy of Shortbus, just drop me an email and I will see if I can send it to you.  Otherwise you can get your own on eBay for $25 or so.  It’s worth having in your (private) DVD library!
