A good day to be indoors …

Wild and woolly weather here today.  A good day to be indoors and preferably tucked up in bed (preferably with someone)!

Today was of course a day where I ended up having to go out (on the bike) in the rain and howling wind.  Still, I didn’t get too wet and I am home safe now.

Finishing touches

Timageoday is a momentous day!  It is the day that the last major piece of earthworks is taking place at my hideaway house.  We are backfilling some trenches and levelling off an area for guest parking.  Once it’s done there shouldn’t be any need to have heavy machinery on the property again soon, so I can really get on with the garden without the risk of having it ripped up in a months time!

This little excavator is really quite light footed though compared to the really big one that we had in a while ago …

An invitation from People With Disabilities

The Australian organisation People With Disabilities contacted me recently to ask if I would be interested in providing escort services for the people who they represent.  I am told that sadly there are very few male escorts for women who provide services for the disabled.

I have to say that I feel quite honoured to have been invited by PWD to assist them.  I am looking forward to working with their staff and clients and taking my services to a group of people who are so often overlooked in our society.

So thank you PWD for this opportunity, I look forward to making a difference for some deserving women.

A place in the country

If you have read over my site you will know that I divide my time between escorting in Sydney and working over the other side of the Blue Mountains.  A few years ago I bought a one acre property in a small town and built a (tiny) house.

I since then I have been working on the garden in my spare time.  Last year I planted four fruit trees.  This year they are thick with fruit and to help protect the apricots, peaches and nectarines from the dreaded fruit fly I have built domes covered with fabric mesh right over the top of them.

The resulting structure is really quite attractive and I am now looking forward to a good crop of fruit without any hidden surprises!

Apricot jam, here we come.

If you have been to my site previously you will have noticed that it has changed completely.

I have shifted over to a WordPress content management system to allow me to post more easily when I am out of the office, and to reduce the workload of maintaining the site.

If you have come to this post via a link to an article, then I am sorry to say that the article has been removed.  I have moved most of the content from my previous site to the new system, but some articles (which I was no-longer happy with) have been dropped.

There is still plenty to read though.  Just browse the menu above and in particular have a look through the articles linked from the Sexuality menu.

Water, sunlight, architecture

Katsura Imperial Villa is a palace built in Japan in the 17th century by Prince Hachijo Toshihito. It is a truly beautiful complex of buildings that merges with their gardens and lake, the reflected sunlight from the water casting rippling paterns across the walls and ceiling. It is possibly one of my favourite pieces of architecture and landscaping (along with Frank Lloyd Wright’s Falling Waters).

I was reminded of Katsura recently as I lay on the deck of my hideaway enjoying the early morning sunlight with a good book and a cup of tea. The sunlight reflected off the pond below the deck danced on the wall and under the eves of the building bringing to mind Katsura’s design which combines the villa’s lake, buildings, and garden to great effect.

It’s easy to get carried away by the presure of life and work these days and forget to take some time out to enjoy the simple beauty to be found in nature, good architecture, or the form and feel of a lovers body beside you.

The male escort’s kitchen: Teriyaki Chicken

Lunch today had a Japanese theme. I am quite partial to Japanese food, but I must say that I love teriyaki.

Teriyaki sauce is simplicity itself to make. Just take soy sauce, add mirin (sweet rice wine) to taste (if you don’t have mirin, then sake and brown sugar will do). Chicken (or any other meat) can then be marinated in it and (as the meat is being cooked) more teriyaki sauce brushed on to get that seductive dark glossy look.

I am told that traditionally the Japanese use teriyaki on fish, but outside of Japan it has become popular on chicken and other meats.

Sadly, I ate my lunch before taking a photo of it today, but I have found a photo of teriyaki chicken and rice for this post.

I love Japanese cuisine, but don’t get to eat it as often as I would like. Having had this little adventure, I think that it is probably time to see if I can whip up a Chanko-Nabe (a Japanese one pot stew based on chicken broth with meat and vegetables famously created by and for Sumo wrestlers).

This dish is typically cooked at the table and everyone serves themselves from the pot. I think that it will make for a delicious hearty meal, just right for cold, wet winter days.
