I came across this article recently about lube and sex toys and thought that while it’s fairly basic that it might be useful for some of my readers. I have talked about lube for penetrative sex in the pasty, but never for its use with toys.

The bottom line is: lube with sex toys is just as important. There is a caveat though – good sex toys are made with medical grade silicone and you absolutely must not use silicone lube with them. Water based lube only! That’s really the biggest issue. Beyond that just use as much as required to feel good!

BTW – I don’t have any affiliation with Trojan and don’t personally used their lubes (I use and recommend Sylk water based lube for most play) but the article was still worth sharing I thought and the info applies regardless of lube manufacturer
